Gas Spouts, including the Gasket Spout Part Replacement #706, are compatible with Gott and Rubbermaid plastic cans. While these spouts and stoppers are primarily designed for these brands, they may also fit other plastic gas cans if you use your existing screw cap collar. They are compatible with brands such as Blitz, Midwest, Scepter, Eagle, Igloo, and some Rotopax and Kolpin models. However, they are not suitable for Chilton or Sears Craftsman cans. If you're using them with Blitz brand plastic cans, you might need to trim the eyelet holes on the side of the cap.

Important: Please verify the measurements and compare them to your existing parts before purchasing. The stopper caps come with a lanyard to keep the cap attached and prevent loss. The black rear air vent caps include both a gasket and a strap and come with both yellow (coarse thread) and black base caps (fine thread). The yellow vent caps feature a retaining lip to prevent them from popping out of the can.

Installation Instructions: 1. Start with an empty can. 2. Drill a 1/2" hole at the back of your plastic can, above the fill line. 3. Insert the vent cap into the hole and gently tap it in place with a rubber mallet. It is recommended to begin with a smaller drill bit and gradually increase to 0.3" to ensure a precise fit. 4. Make sure to drill a straight, clean hole to avoid enlarging it unnecessarily.
