Equipped with our 2-way vented cap, the automatic air inflow valve system allows air to enter the tank during operation and pressure to be released above 5 PSI. It is important to note that EPA regulations have eliminated traditional venting in these tanks, resulting in noticeable swelling when the tank is not vented below 5 PSI. However, our new portable outboard marine fuel tanks have been tested to remain sealed and safe at these pressures, even when swelling is visible. This is supported by our certifications, including EPA: 40 CFR 1060 Fed Emissions Regulation and ASTM 2517-17 Child Safety.

Our 3 gallon capacity fuel tank measures 19.3"L x 12.2"W x 6.8"H and features a rugged one-piece tank shell construction designed to reduce fuel evaporation and retain octane value for longer periods. The integrated top handle makes it easy to carry from your boat to the dock, while the convenient combination fuel pick-up/sight gauge accepts standard 1/4 NPT marine tank fittings.
