The Gas Can Spout Replacement Kit is designed to be compatible with a wide range of fuel cans from various manufacturers, specifically for those made before January 1, 2009. This comprehensive kit includes nozzles, screw collars, vent caps, and a drill bit, making it suitable for 1, 2, 5, and 10-gallon gas cans.

Enhanced Fuel Transfer: Our gas nozzle is engineered to streamline fuel transfer while enhancing safety. With this nozzle, you'll experience fewer spills and splashes, reducing fuel wastage. When using the nozzle, ensure the gas can's vent cap is open to allow smooth air flow. If the vent cap is closed or not installed, pouring will be significantly slower. After use, avoid removing the spout from the base cap to prevent gasket damage and potential leaks.

Two Types of Screw Caps:

• Coarse Thread Cap: The yellow screw collar cap included in the kit features a coarse thread. It fits cans from brands like Blitz, Briggs & Stratton (later models), Eagle, Igloo, Midwest Can (for gas, water, and diesel), Scepter, and Stancan (metal).

• Fine Thread Cap: The black screw collar cap has a fine thread and is compatible with cans from Blitz (gas, kerosene, and diesel), Briggs & Stratton (early models), Essence, Gott, and Rubbermaid.

Leak-Proof Design: The spout cap, also known as the screw cap, has a threaded design that ensures a tight seal to prevent leaks. It includes a built-in sealing ring for a secure, airtight fit.

Vent Cap Options:

• Black Vent Cap: Suitable for gas cans with an existing vent hole, such as those from Rubbermaid, Gott, and Essence.

• Yellow Vent Cap: For cans without a vent hole (e.g., Midwest and Scepter), you'll need to drill a hole and install the yellow vent cap. Start with an empty can, drill a hole above the fill line on the back of the plastic can, and insert the vent cap. Use a rubber mallet to gently secure it. We recommend starting with a smaller drill bit and increasing the size gradually.
